February 12, 2024 — January 2024 Outstanding Care Professional, Ruth Theoc
Ruth Theoc is from Port-de-Paix, Haiti. She and her husband raised 5 children, 2 born in Haiti and 3 in the U.S. They have 3 grandchildren, and their eldest son is now serving in the United States Army.
Ruth came to America from Haiti in 1997, leaving 2 of her older kids and husband until she was able to get an extended work visa and get them. They applied for U.S. citizenship and became citizens soon after the family were reunited, they worked hard and bought their house in 2004.
Ruth is taking some time off next month to go to Pennsylvania to meet her 3rd grandchild Olivia. She is excited!
This is a true American Dream story.
